Fundamental laws and theorems governing electrical circuits at dc and low frequencies are discussed in this course using which we can analyze wide range of complex circuits. Transient and steady state response of circuits are studied in this course can help us design better circuits for desired function. Concept of two port networks which we learn here helps us understand and analyze different two port devices such as TV receiver, Transformers and other devices we use in everyday life. Graph theory help us to represent circuit in the form of matrix using which circuit can be further analyzed.
The subject contains marks weightage of 10 to 11 in GATE Electronics & Communication, 9 to 10 in GATE Electrical Engineering and 11 in GATE Instrumentation Engineering.
