The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 24,900 – 50,500/- (to be revised w.e.f. 01-01-2017) an increment of 3% per year. Besides Basic Pay, the employee is entitled to allowance @ 47% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria Approach, Dearness Allowance, HRA/Company Accommodation, Mining Allowance, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Maintenance, Substantial Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Facility for self and dependents, Gratuity, Post Retirement Benefit Scheme and Composite Social Security Scheme as per Company rules.

2.0 Number of Posts will be posted at ongcindia.com at the time of inviting the online application in after January 2018. However as mentioned above nearly  100 posts (identified suitable for the PwD) are reserved for PwD . candidates which includes approximately 90 backlog/short fall posts.

3. SELECTION PROCESS:

The selection process will comprise

a) GATE — 2018 : The desirous and eligible candidates having the essential qualification for the advertised posts are required to apply and appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ( GATE) 2018.

b) The candidates possessing the requisite qualification for the advertised posts is required to appear in the GATE-2018 subjects strictly as indicated above para 1.1 Essential Qualification &  GATE Subject with Code under Eligibility Criteria.

c) The GATE-2018 Score in the subject mentioned against the posts of ONGC will be considered by ONGC for short-listing the candidates for the further selection process of personal Interview as pert the criteria decided by the Management.

4. HOW TOAPPLY

a) Candidates will have to separately apply online to ONGC for which link will be activated on www.ongcindia.com in March/April 2018.

b) The exact date and period of go live of online application registration site will be intimated by a  notification in the Website of ONGC (ongcindia.com) in due course. Candidates are required to visit ongcindia.com regularly to get the updates.
