GATE Preparation: Coaching or Self Study?

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India entrance Examination unitedly conducted by IISc and seven IITs every year in the month of January or February. The GATE rank or score help students to get admission in Postgraduate Programmes (ME, M.Tech, MS, direct PhD) in IISc, IITs and other reputed institutes in India, with financial assistance provided by MHRD. The GATE score also decides your eligibility for highly paid jobs in PSUs.

Some of the PSUs which use GATE score for providing jobs include BARC, BHEL, IOCL, HPCL, NTPC, Powergrid, NHPC etc. Also as per the current updates GATE exam score
will help you get jobs in private sector as well.

Thinking of all these benefits you all must be planning to appear for GATE exam this year, at the same time a lot of you must be in quandary that either you should go for coaching or you should just start preparing yourself without any guidance. Let’s find out the answer for this question.

GATE is consider to be one of the toughest exam for PG. Cracking GATE takes a lot of hardwork, logical understanding, lot of planning and then preparation.
