The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the IISc (Indian Institute of Science) and the seven IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Candidates planning to appear for GATE papers this year should know the following two important things about GATE exam’s administrative body.
1. The GATE committee, which comprises of representatives from the administering institutes, is the sole authority for regulating the GATE exam and declaring the results.
